New week and almost a new month. The new P&G coupons will come out this next week so stock up.

If you order clipped coupons I use Coupons by Dede. I can order coupons on Sunday or early Monday and still get them by the end of the week. I have stockpiled enough now that I like to concentrate on certain things when I see the great deal coming up so I do buy my coupons like this sometimes.

I also keep a sort of calendar page that shows my Fridays on it. That's the day I shop most. Then on each date I keep a short list of coupons that will be expiring the following week. That way I know what to concentrate on that Friday so I don't let my coupons expire.

The new ad is out for Fred's in Eldorado, IL. Get it HERE. Remember they have double coupons on Saturdays. They have alot of neat things there. Maybe worth checking out depending where you are or if you just need a road trip. Harrisburg is only a few miles from Eldorado too.

I am working on getting a Fred's Store List but for now here is the link to Fred's Store website. The new ad comes out this week (I think tomorrow).

This is the week for good deals on Suave products if you still have your coupons. And I think you can get stocked up on detergent this week at a decent price.

CVS has a deal on a gas card. You spend $30 and get a $10 gas card, but I will be honest I can't see me getting it. I don't want some of the things, there are limits, and some of the stuff is overpriced and I would be better off saving the money and buying my own gas, It's up to you, you may want it.

I have been couponing and stockpiling enough now that I am becoming picky. I look for certain things to add to my stockpile and I pass over things unless they are almost free or free. Plus you have to coupon to accommodate your family size. For me it is just me and hubby, but if I had little ones at home I would buy not only different but lots more. Figure out what you need for your family for 6 months and try to stockpile that (if you have room to keep it). I do not buy alot of frozen because I do not have an extra freezer and I worry about power outages ( found that out the hard way).
So everybody needs to coupon different. I am thankful and blessed to save as much as I can. Sure I like free but you can't always get free so at least get it cheap.

Fred's Store

Have you heard of Fred's Hometown Discount Store? It is alot like a large Dollar General or Family Dollar. There is one in Eldorado, IL. I have been there once but I think we ought to check it out on a more serious notice. You can find their website here., where you can see their current ad. And they double coupons up to 70 cents on Saturday only (I am told that if you have more than one of the same coupon they only double the first one, but you can do more than one transaction). Just to let you know.

Week of May 15 to May 21 New Info

          Boy things have sure changed since the TLC show Extreme Couponing came out as a series. I went to the KROGER in Harrisburg, IL on Friday and I saw at least 10 people with coupons and several had their binders like me. I talked to 2 young ladies who just started couponing and they were so gung ho. I am thrilled to see this. A lot of people just do not have any concept of how much money can be saved by couponing. Yes it takes time, but it is worth it. As of the end of April I have saved over $1100 this year. And I didn't start until mid January and took 2 weeks off at the end of April for vacation. I am HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY. Now when I run out of something I go to my stockpile and get it. I paid less for it and I don't have to run anywhere to get it and use my high priced gas, so I save even more.
          As for Frebbies. I have been really watching the drug stores for deals where you buy something and get the same amount back in Register Rewards or ECBs. I do this on a regular basis. And also at CVS they are often out of what I want so be SURE to get those rain checks. They will also give you the ECB on the rain check so be sure and ask for them if they are out of what you want.
